Cameron Moraga is a photographer based out of Arizona whose primary focus is to shoot what catches his eye. Born in Santa Barbara California, Cameron first picked up a disposable camera at a young age. He was fascinated by the art of photography, and soon advanced to professional cameras. At first, Cameron was an Automotive Technologies major at Santa Barbara City College, though his love for cameras and photography was still strong, as his mother's old Pentax never left his side. In 2009, Cameron found his true passion in photography when he realized how unhappy he was working on cars, and how he longed to be in the world of cameras. Since that time, Cameron has been awarded with the 2010 School of Media Arts Showcase Honorable Mention, Photographer of the Week in Fall 2010 in Photojournalism, and had his Photojournalism honored accompanying the School of Media Arts Showcase Journalism Award for Best Story. In addition, his work has been published and featured on the front of The Channels Newspaper at Santa Barbara City College, and has been featured in the Santa Barbara City College Photo Lab since 2009.
